Marc is Managing Director of 3comma Medical. Over a 22-year career in medical devices, he’s held executive leadership, commercial leadership, and general management roles for companies such as Penumbra, Medtronic, and Boston Scientific. Marc has also worked as an executive consultant for several medical device startups. Early in his career, he gained valuable experience at GE Capital and Ford Motor Company. Marc holds an MBA in Organizational Management from Wayne State University and a BS in Packaging Engineering from Michigan State University.

Chris serves as a Board Advisor for 3comma Medical. With over 14 years of extensive experience in the medical device industry, Chris has excelled in various roles encompassing sales, sales leadership, and general management. Chris is currently International Sales Manager for Q'Apel Medical where he leads the company's international commercial operations and expansion efforts across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. Chris has held sales and sales leadership roles at Penumbra, Abbott Cardiovascular and Boston Scientific. Chris holds a BSC in Biomedical Engineering from FH Technikum Vienna and a Diploma in Business Communication from Schule des Sprechens Vienna.

Jim serves as a Board Advisor for 3comma Medical. Jim is the former President of Penumbra, Inc. where he helped build the organization from its earliest stages. He was the architect of Penumbra’s International organization, which accounted for over $300MM of Penumbra’s $1B market value when it went public in 2015. At his departure in 2021, Penumbra was doing business in 100+ countries, utilizing 80+ distribution partners globally. Before Penumbra, Jim held executive roles at Target Therapeutics and Boston Scientific. Today, he is active in multiple healthcare venture capital funds. Jim holds a BS and MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
